Here at Knutson Building & Excavation LLC we specialize in all forms of excavation services, Fencing and building projects.

Excavation work is the first major thing you’ll need done to your investment and were here to help you navigate this step.

  • Road Building

    The first step on your new property will more than likely be building an access road. We will install as much or as little road needed with proper drainage, compaction and slope.

  • Land clearing

    Road building and land clearing go hand and hand. Here in the Pacific Northwest there will probably be trees, brush or rocks in the area you’re wanting your home. We will remove and dispose of any materials needed

  • Grading

    This is the next step after Clearing. We will level out (grade) any parts of your property that need it and make sure there is proper slope or drainage systems if needed.

  • Utility trenching

    Your new build needs utilities like water, sewer and electrical. Whether your property will be tying into city utilities or you’re in a rural area with wells and septic systems, we will dig, install and back fill any utilities that were legally licensed to do up to state and local building code.

  • Footings and foundations

    Next step is digging for footings and foundation walls for your new build. We will carefully follow the engineered plans and dig, back fill and compact your foundation. If you or the engineer opt to use Insulated concrete forms (ICF) we will form up and pour the footings and walls as well.

  • Finish grading

    We don’t just do the rough grading. We will come in when the rest of the build is finished and finish grade your property with proper slope and drainage and install any rock or landscaping materials you want.

Agricultural Fencing

We build all types of agricultural fencing. Whether you want Barbed wire, horse fencing, field fencing, wood rail fencing or any specialty agricultural fencing, we’ve got you covered. We use wood, round steel, and metal t-posts for our agricultural fencing projects and build livestock specific fences that are built to last.

Privacy Fencing

Wood and Vinyl privacy fencing in 4’ or 6’ heights are the most common, we’ve built and are continuing to build high quality long lasting privacy fence all around the inland northwest.
